Exam Invigilator

Oxford Care Services Ltd trading as Learning Connect is seeking a reliable and detail-focused Exam Invigilator to support secure and professional examination delivery at its Southall centre.

You will help maintain a fair, calm and organised examination environment, following the relevant examination body and test provider requirements.

Your responsibilities will include

Preparing examination rooms, workstations and authorised materials before each session.

Welcoming candidates and checking their identity and admission details in accordance with approved procedures.

Explaining authorised examination instructions clearly and consistently.

Supervising candidates and maintaining examination security throughout each session.

Monitoring examination timings and recording attendance, incidents and irregularities accurately.

Reporting suspected malpractice, technical problems and other concerns through the appropriate procedures.

Supporting approved accessibility arrangements within the scope of the role.

Securing examination materials and completing session records.

Maintaining candidate confidentiality and completing required training.

Applicants must have effective spoken and written English and be able to communicate confidently in at least one of Hindi or Punjabi. English plus Hindi, or English plus Punjabi, meets this requirement. Knowledge of all three languages is welcome but is not required.

The additional language will be used for permitted customer service communication with Hindi- or Punjabi-speaking candidates. Any language assistance must comply with the examination provider’s rules and must not include unauthorised translation or explanation of examination questions.

The role is based at G01, Unit 3, Pure Life, 399 Uxbridge Road, Southall, UB1 3EJ.

Skilled Worker visa sponsorship is not available for this role. Applicants must hold permission to undertake this employment in the UK.
