1. What JobMaps does

JobMaps provides job advertising and contact tools. We publish jobs supplied by businesses and people, as well as jobs collected from public third-party sources.

JobMaps is a job advertising service that helps advertisers and jobseekers connect. Advertisers are responsible for checks, interviews, hiring decisions, pay, and employment terms. Any employment agreement is between the advertiser and the applicant.

2. Listings and advertiser responsibilities

Anyone posting a job must:

• be at least 18 and have authority to advertise a genuine vacancy;
• provide accurate, lawful, and non-discriminatory information;
• keep the listing current and tell us when the vacancy closes;
• comply with employment, tax, minimum wage, right to work, safety, and safeguarding duties; and
• not post scams, illegal work, misleading opportunities, or improper fees for applicants.

A person advertising a job may publish an approximate area and share an exact home address privately when appropriate. Advertisers are responsible for their listings and give JobMaps permission to store, format, publish, and promote the content for operating the service.

We may review, edit for presentation, refuse, suspend, or remove a listing or account, including after a report. Publication does not mean that JobMaps endorses the advertiser or the job.

3. Applying for jobs

Some jobs send you to an employer or third-party website. Their terms and privacy notice apply there, and JobMaps cannot guarantee that an external listing is still open or accurate.

A directly posted job may show an email address or telephone number chosen by the advertiser. When you use those details, you contact the advertiser directly. JobMaps does not receive or store your message, CV, or other application information. The advertiser is responsible for explaining how it uses your information and for complying with data protection law.

Advertisers must be authorised to publish their contact details and understand that the details will be public and may appear in search engines. An account email is not published automatically. Advertisers should use a suitable application email, keep their account secure, and tell us promptly about unauthorised access.

4. Checks and staying safe

We do not routinely verify an advertiser's identity or legitimacy, or an applicant's identity, qualifications, references, right to work, criminal record, or suitability. Confirming an email address gives access to an account; it is not a JobMaps verification or endorsement.

Advertisers must carry out the checks required for the role. Applicants should check who they are dealing with before sharing more information, attending a private address, or accepting work. Never send money or financial login details to secure a job. Report suspicious listings to contact@jobmaps.co.uk.

5. Availability and responsibility

Advertisers and applicants are responsible for the content they provide. We do not guarantee that listings are complete, accurate, safe, or available, or that anyone will receive an interview, applicant, offer, or successful hire. The service may sometimes be unavailable or changed.
