Privacy notice
1. Information we collect
- Visitors: IP address, device and browser information, searches, pages viewed, and cookie or analytics identifiers.
- Advertisers: name, account email, account activity, job details, business or personal details, messages, and any application email or telephone number chosen for public display.
- Public sources: job details and relevant employer or recruiter contact information published by job sources and employer websites.
- Support and security: messages, reports, login records, and technical logs used to protect the service.
Advertisers should provide only the contact details needed for people to respond to the job.
2. How and why we use it

3. Who receives it?
For a directly posted job, the advertiser's chosen application email or telephone number is displayed publicly. It may be seen by website visitors, search engines, and other services that index public web pages. We do not publish the advertiser's account email unless the advertiser separately chooses it as the public application email.
When you email or call an advertiser, you contact that business or person directly. JobMaps does not receive or store your message, CV, or other application information. The advertiser is separately responsible for how it uses and keeps the information you send. You may ask the advertiser for its privacy information.
We also use providers for hosting, email delivery, maps, security, and analytics. These may include Mapbox, Google Analytics, and PostHog when the relevant service is enabled. We may share information with professional advisers, law enforcement, regulators, or courts when reasonably required. We do not sell personal information.
4. How long we keep it
Account, listing, public contact, support, security, and legal records are kept only while needed for the purposes above, to resolve disputes, or to meet legal obligations. Public contact details are removed from the listing when the job or account is removed, although search engines or other services may retain an older copy. Analytics providers retain information according to the settings applied to their services.
5. Security
We use access controls and technical and organisational safeguards intended to protect personal information. No online service can promise absolute security. Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been accessed improperly.
6. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask us for a copy of your information, or ask us to correct, delete, restrict, or transfer it. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent where we rely on consent. A withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing.
