We are seeking a skilled and motivated Social Worker to join the team, providing high-quality, person-centred support and ensuring that the safety, welfare and best interests of children remain at the heart of every decision. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who thrives in a challenging and rewarding environment and is committed to achieving positive, lasting outcomes for vulnerable individuals and families.

*Manage an allocated caseload of children, young people and families, providing effective support, guidance and intervention based on their individual needs.

*Undertake comprehensive assessments to identify needs, strengths, risks and protective factors, ensuring appropriate support is provided.

*Develop, implement and regularly review care plans to promote children's safety, stability, development and overall wellbeing.

*Respond promptly to safeguarding and child protection concerns, taking appropriate action to protect children from harm, abuse or neglect.

*Build positive working relationships with children, parents, carers and families, ensuring their views, wishes and feelings are considered throughout the decision-making process.

Work collaboratively with schools, healthcare professionals, police and other partner agencies to coordinate support and achieve the best possible outcomes.

Prepare clear, accurate and evidence-based assessments, case records, reports and court documentation within required timescales.

Attend and contribute to child protection conferences, strategy meetings, looked-after child reviews, court hearings and other professional meetings as required.

Assess and manage risks effectively, using sound professional judgement to make informed decisions in complex and challenging situations.

Maintain accurate and confidential case records, participate in supervision and professional development, and ensure all work complies with relevant legislation, policies and professional standards.
