Social Worker Grade 10 - Social Care Qualified

*Manage a varied caseload of children, young people and families, providing high-quality, child-centred social work.

*Complete comprehensive assessments, care plans and reviews, identifying needs, risks and appropriate interventions.

*Build strong, professional relationships with children, families, carers and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes.

*Lead on safeguarding and child protection work, responding confidently to complex and high-risk situations.

*Undertake direct work with children and families, ensuring their wishes, feelings and lived experiences inform decision-making.

*Work closely with schools, health professionals, police, fostering services and other agencies as part of a multi-disciplinary approach.

*Prepare clear, analytical and evidence-based reports, assessments and court documentation within required timescales.

*Represent children and young people at reviews, conferences, strategy meetings, panels and court hearings where required.

*Use professional judgement to manage complex cases, risk and challenging situations, ensuring decisions are evidence-based and focused on children’s best interests.

*Access regular supervision and professional development while maintaining accurate records, statutory compliance and high professional standards.
