About this role

Established in 2013, Devi Technologies has evolved into a multinational technology and professional services enterprise, underpinned by sustained commercial expansion, organisational maturity and an increasingly diversified international footprint.

The Group presently maintains established operations across five strategic jurisdictions — the United Kingdom, United States of America, Germany, the Netherlands and India — supported by a global workforce exceeding 100 professionals.

The organisation’s continued expansion has necessitated a commensurate strengthening of its financial governance architecture, statutory compliance framework, fiscal oversight and internal control environment. Consequently, the Group places considerable emphasis on financial probity, regulatory conformity, meticulous record-keeping and the timely discharge of statutory obligations across multiple jurisdictions.

Operating within a rapidly evolving and increasingly complex international environment, Devi Technologies requires its finance professionals to demonstrate technical proficiency, commercial perspicacity, analytical rigour and an uncompromising commitment to financial integrity and regulatory compliance.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assume responsibility for the preparation, critical review and finalisation of year-end and statutory accounts, meticulously examining client-supplied financial information to ensure completeness, veracity and conformity with applicable accounting standards and internal quality-control protocols.

• Prepare and scrutinise corporation tax computations, corporation tax returns and personal tax returns, ensuring that underlying financial information is substantiated, computationally accurate and submitted within prescribed statutory timeframes.

• Undertake the preparation and review of VAT returns, PAYE-related matters and ancillary fiscal documentation, exercising appropriate due diligence over accounting records, calculations and corroborative evidence prior to submission.

• Finalise statutory accounts, taxation returns and associated documentation for presentation to clients and subsequent submission to HMRC and, where applicable, Companies House, ensuring adherence to requisite review, authorisation and client-approval procedures.

• Function as a principal liaison for clients, proactively procuring financial records, investigating and reconciling discrepancies, resolving accounting queries and communicating progress, impending deadlines and outstanding documentary requirements with clarity and professionalism.

• Maintain and critically review bookkeeping records, general ledgers, supplier accounts, bank reconciliations and supporting schedules, ensuring transactional accuracy, appropriate classification and comprehensive evidential substantiation.

• Prepare and review periodic management accounts and financial performance reports, undertaking analytical evaluation of material movements, anomalies and variances to provide meaningful financial intelligence in support of informed commercial decision-making.

• Provide clients with considered guidance concerning tax liabilities, payment obligations, statutory filing requirements and compliance deadlines within the parameters of the role, exercising professional judgement in escalating technically intricate matters to appropriate specialists.

• Strategically plan, prioritise and monitor accounting and taxation engagements, ensuring the punctilious observance of statutory deadlines, contractual commitments and the organisation’s exacting service standards.

• Collaborate extensively with colleagues, finance functions and professional advisers across the Group’s operations in the United Kingdom, United States, Germany, the Netherlands and India, facilitating the timely collation of financial information and promoting consistency in accounting, reporting and compliance practices across jurisdictions.

• Contribute to the continuous enhancement of the Group’s financial governance infrastructure, internal control mechanisms and compliance architecture, identifying opportunities to strengthen processes as the organisation continues its international expansion.

• Maintain exhaustive working papers, reconciliations, supporting schedules, review documentation and client correspondence, preserving confidentiality, documentary integrity and an unequivocal audit trail evidencing preparation, scrutiny, authorisation and approval.

• Exercise sustained vigilance over the accuracy, integrity and regulatory conformity of financial information, recognising that the Group’s multinational footprint and expanding workforce necessitate a particularly exacting standard of fiscal stewardship and corporate accountability.

• Support the development of scalable financial processes and harmonised compliance methodologies capable of accommodating the Group’s continued growth while preserving rigorous standards of governance, transparency and operational discipline.
