Manufacturing Operative - Afternoon Shift

Vibe Recruit is currently hiring on behalf of a leading and fast-growing corrugated packaging manufacturer based in Pontypool. Due to continued expansion, we are looking to appoint multiple Manufacturing Operators to join their high-performing production team.

Manufacturing Operators - Full-Time - Pontypool

£12.71 per h

Afternoon Shift

Monday - Thursday

14:30 - 22:00,

Friday

13:00 - 17:30 (Paid until 18:00)

Key Responsibilities

-

Operate and monitor machinery to ensure continuous production flow

-

Supply machines with raw materials and feed boards as required

-

Follow production plans, work instructions, and standard operating procedures

-

Complete production paperwork accurately and in a timely manner

-

Work closely with other departments to achieve manufacturing targets

-

Identify and report any production or machine issues

-

Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation around work areas (5S / Good Housekeeping)

Key Requirements

-

Previous experience in a manufacturing or production setting is essential

-

Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to understand technical instructions

-

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately

-

Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work

Strong teamwork and communication abilities
