Assistant Pastor (Youth Coordinator)

As a church, it is imperative for us to reflect the diversity of our community, thereby fulfilling the Great Commission as taught by our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. This role would also require serving the community. We see ourselves primarily as servants to God and the community, embodying hope and refuge. Following the church's strategic plan to promote the gospel of our Lord and personal Saviour, Jesus Christ, to empower the community by creating and adding value to the people through the teaching and preaching of the word of God, we have established a mission to empower the community by creating and adding value to the people.

Requirements

In accountability to the senior pastor, the youth pastor will develop ministry and outreach in the youth church.

Responsibilities include

1. To lead youth congregations in worship services.

2.Organize Conventions and Conferences to analyse and spread the Christian faith/message among youths.

3. Organise and conduct baptism classes and carry out baptism for qualified members.

4. Officiating at marriage blessings, funerals, christenings, dedications, and other special services.

5. Organise training courses and set up Bible classes for members.

6. Provide spiritual and moral guidance and assistance to youth members.

7. Prepare and deliver sermons and other knowledge sharing sessions

8. Interpret doctrine, articles of faith of our religion/organisation 9 Instruct people who seek conversion to the Christian faith.

10. Visit sick and shut-ins and help the poor.

11 Provide counsel and welfare support to those in spiritual need and comfort the bereaved and broken-hearted.
