About this role

Make your mark as a Site Monitor in the Healthcare sector, based in Bristol.

Healthcare providers across the South West are under constant pressure to prove that care standards hold up in practice, not just on paper. This growing healthcare business, a startup built on flat structures and fast decisions, needs a Site Monitor who can sit inside that pressure and make sense of it. You'll be the person who checks that what's meant to happen on site actually does.

Here's what you'll be doing

Carrying out regular site visits across Bristol and the surrounding region to check compliance against healthcare standards and internal protocols

Writing clear, evidence-based reports that flag risks before they become problems

Working directly with site teams to resolve issues on the spot where you can, and escalating what you can't

Tracking corrective actions through to completion, not just logging them and moving on

Building relationships with site leads so monitoring feels like support, not inspection

Feeding patterns and recurring issues back to the wider team to shape policy

Here are the skills you'll need

Solid experience in a healthcare, compliance, or quality assurance role

Working knowledge of CQC standards or equivalent regulatory frameworks

Sharp attention to detail. Small inconsistencies matter in this line of work

Confidence having difficult conversations with site staff without damaging the relationship

Strong written communication for reports that get read and acted on

Comfortable working independently and managing your own diary across multiple sites

Key perks and benefits

£32,500 to £43,500, depending on experience

Hybrid working, with site visits across Bristol balanced against home-based reporting time

Equity in a business that's still early enough for your input to shape it

Flexible working hours built around real life, not a rigid clock-in culture

A genuine learning and development budget, plus a flat structure where you'll wear more than one hat

Why pursue a career in Healthcare?

Healthcare in the UK isn't shrinking, and the demand for people who can hold quality standards to account is only going up. Bristol has become a genuine hub for healthcare innovation, with a mix of established providers and newer ventures that need people willing to get into the detail. Do this well and the path forward is wide open, from senior monitoring roles through to compliance leadership.
