School Site Manager

St Michael’s CE VC Primary School, Ratcliffe Drive, Stoke Gifford, South Gloucestershire, BS34 8SG Caretaker required.St Michael’s is one of the largest Primary School in South Gloucestershire with 635 pupils on roll. Due to our current postholder gaining a promotion, we are looking for a new school Site Manager to look after our school. Whilst the core purpose of the post is to lock and unlock the school and to ensure the premises are safe and secure, there are also additional opportunities for overtime as the need arises.

Range of duties include

• Locking and unlocking the school premises • Being responsible for the safety and general upkeep of the school grounds• Carrying out a range of maintenance and upkeep tasks• Monitoring energy consumption in the school• Ensuring children are appropriately safeguarded by being vigilant and proactive around the school site.• Managing some lettings by locking up after hours.For full list of duties refer to detailed job description.

We are looking for someone who:• Is fit, friendly and reliable• Is very well organised and proactive• Can work independently and show initiative• Is flexible and adaptable • Enjoys spending time with children and has excellent interpersonal skills.

Salary Range

Hay 11 £26,847 - £27,274 pro rata This is a part time, all year round post.

26 – 30 hours per week
