About this role
Make your mark as a Financial Compliance Analyst in the Financial Services sector, based in Liverpool.
Regulatory scrutiny in Financial Services has only gone one direction over the past decade, and it isn't slowing down. This enterprise-scale financial services provider needs a Financial Compliance Analyst who can keep pace with shifting requirements while the wider business gets on with growth. The Liverpool base sits within a firm that already runs on established frameworks, so you're not building compliance from scratch. You're strengthening something that already works.
Here's what you'll be doing
Monitor regulatory changes affecting the business and translate them into practical policy updates
Conduct compliance reviews across departments, flagging gaps before they become problems
Prepare reports for senior stakeholders and, where needed, external regulators
Support internal audits and respond to findings with clear remediation plans
Maintain accurate compliance registers and documentation, checked and rechecked
Liaise with legal, risk and operations teams to keep controls consistent across the business
Here are the skills you'll need
Solid grounding in UK financial services regulation (FCA rules, AML, data protection)
A few years' experience in a compliance, audit or risk role within Financial Services
Sharp attention to detail. This role has no room for guesswork
Confidence writing clear reports for both technical and non-technical audiences
Comfortable working within structured processes while still exercising independent judgement
Relevant qualification (ICA, CISI or similar) is a plus, not a requirement
Key perks and benefits
£40,000 to £50,500, depending on experience
Hybrid working, split between the Liverpool office and home
Private medical and dental insurance
Enhanced pension scheme and performance-based bonuses
Comprehensive benefits package built for long-term careers, not just the first year
Why pursue a career in Financial Services?
Compliance careers in Financial Services rarely stand still. The rules change, the risks shift, and the people who understand both stay in demand. Liverpool has built a genuine financial services cluster over the last few years, which means a Financial Compliance Analyst based here isn't working in isolation. It's a sector that rewards precision and pays well for people who take the detail seriously.
This Financial Compliance Analyst opportunity is brought to you by The Opportunity Hub UK.
