At Bromley Heath Junior School, we are looking for an inspiring, child-centred and proactive Teaching Assistant to join our growing SEN team. We are a community that prioritises connection, safety and belonging as the essential foundations for all children. This role will involve supporting a Year 4 child with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) related to Autism and ADHD. You will be supporting the wider KS2 community in classrooms and may lead small-group interventions that focus as much on social-emotional growth as they do on academic progress. We are looking for a candidate who has particular skills in the following areas: • Providing bespoke support tailored to the specific requirements of an EHCP. • Adapting learning materials to ensure the curriculum is accessible and engaging. • Delivering targeted interventions (literacy, numeracy or social skills) for small groups. • Working closely with the SENCo, class teacher and external professionals. We believe every child deserves a champion- an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of relationships and supports them to become the best that they can possibly be. If you are a resilient, empathetic professional ready to make a real difference in a young person’s life, we would love to hear from you. The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the safety and welfare of children and young people. All staff and volunteers are expected to share this commitment and all appointments will be subject to appropriate vetting, including an enhanced DBS disclosure check. We are only able to accept application forms, please complete the form attached.Interviews will be held week commencing Monday 16th November.
