HGV Class 2 Driver

We are looking for reliable HGV Class 2 Driver in the Sheffield area, new passes accepted - immediate start available!!

Our client is one of the UK’s leading Cash and Carry Wholesalers supporting independent retailers throughout the UK, who are now looking to add additional HGV Class 2 Drivers to join their bus team in Sheffield.

This role involves multi-drop deliveries of both palletised and caged goods to local convenience stores throughout the north of the UK. Drivers will be expected to complete on average 8 drops per day. You will be required to offload pallets or cages using a tail lift and electric pump truck.

You’ll be responsible for completing pre-shift vehicle checks and ensuring all paperwork is accurately filled out in line with company procedures.

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have

• A valid HGV Class 2 (C) driving licence
• A valid Driver CPC qualification
• A Digital Tachograph Card in date
• No more than 6 points on your licence

New passes welcome however some exposure to the transport industry would be preferred.

This is a full time position with genuine temp to perm opportunity

Working hours are Monday to Friday with start times typically being around 0600 each day. Average length shift is 10 hours per day

Pay for this role is £16.00 per hour Monday to Friday PAYE with 28 days holiday per year
