HGV Class 2 Drivers Wanted - Sheffield - Immediate start – Temp to Perm

Our client is one of the UK’s leading Cash and Carry Wholesalers supporting independent retailers, who work closely with suppliers who share their commitment to delivering quality, value and service, driving growth and success for everyone, who are now looking to recruit a HGV Class 2 Driver for their distribution centre in Sheffield.

In this role, you'll be responsible for delivery of both caged and palletised goods to customers throughout the UK. Drivers will be required to offload cages and pallets using a tail lift.

Drivers typically complete around 8 deliveries per shift using modern box trailers.

All drivers will be expected to conduct daily vehicle safety inspections, comply with transport and health and safety regulations, complete all relevant paperwork accurately, and deliver a professional level of service at every customer location.

To be considered for this role, you must have the following;

• A valid HGV Class 2 (C) Driving Licence
• A current Driver CPC qualification
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence
• New Passes Welcome

This is a fuill time temp to perm position

Working hours are Monday to Friday with start times being around 0600 each day

Pay for this role is £15.00 per hour Monday to Friday PAYE with 28 daysd holiday acrual per year
