HMP Altcourse is the busiest remand prison in the country, so there's lots going on in this exciting, varied role, where you will gain valuable experience, and no 2 days are ever the same! As a Early days in Custody Nurse you will focuses on the admission and reception of new arrivals, including initial screening assessments, referrals, and identifying substance misuse needs.

Monday - Sunday service 37.5 hours per week Various shift patters between 7am - 10pm Nights 7.45pm - 7.15am 1 weekend in 2/3 Rota's are done 2 months in advance Very occasional nights Salary This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary up to £34,428 - £41,658 per annum FTE which will be pro rota - depending on experience.
