General Service Manager Acute and Emergency Medicine

The post holder will be an integral member of the Care Group Management Team and will support the delivery of speciality specific strategic plans, contributing to the overall objectives of the Division.

Key responsibilities include

Operational management of Acute and Emergency Medicine services. Delivery of performance, quality and financial targets. Leadership of service improvement and transformation programmes. Workforce planning and establishment management. Development of effective relationships with clinical and nursing leaders. Monitoring and management of risks, governance and assurance processes. Supporting business planning, capacity planning and performance reporting. Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver service objectives. Ensuring services are responsive to the needs of patients and the wider healthcare system.
