Sales Executive (Entry Level)

Root HR Limited is a growing UK-based AI technology startup developing intelligent solutions for HR, payroll, recruitment, workforce management and business compliance, through its AI-powered platform roothr.ai (https://roothr.ai/). We are looking for a motivated and entrepreneurial Sales Executive to join our growing team in Basildon, Essex. This is more than a traditional sales position: you will work directly with the founders, contribute to business expansion and play an important role in the growth of an emerging AI technology company. Graduates and entry-level applicants are welcome and full training will be provided.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new sales opportunities across the UK market.
• Research potential customers and industries.
• Build relationships with business owners and decision-makers.
• Generate qualified leads and sales opportunities through outreach, networking, LinkedIn and other channels.
• Arrange and attend client meetings, product demonstrations and industry events.
• Convert opportunities into new customers and close sales.
• Contribute to customer acquisition campaigns and business growth initiatives.
• Work closely with the founders to explore new markets and commercial opportunities.
• Maintain an organised sales pipeline and regularly report on sales activities.
• Support the company's long-term expansion and revenue growth objectives.

Contract terms

initial six-month fixed-term employment contract, including a three-month probationary period. Performance will be reviewed throughout the contract. Any extension or longer-term employment will depend on individual performance and business requirements.
