About the role of Trainee Health & Safety Advisor

This regional consultancy traditionally specialises in construction projects for regional contractors, packages valuing up to £30M across Hampshire, Dorset, Sussex and Surrey for framework clients. The role of Trainee Health & Safety Advisor will report directly to the Health & Safety Manager, with a clear progression plan and development strategy in place.

Responsibilities for Trainee Health & Safety Advisor

* Regular client liaison

* Conducting on site audits and Inspections

* Preparation of risk assessments and method statements where appropriate for the project teams

* Keeping up to date with the latest HSQE requirements including legislation and best practice.

Requirements for Trainee Health & Safety Advisor

* Previous experience based on site within the construction industry is preferable

* Relevant qualification including either NEBOSH or IOSH

* Strong communication skills and attention to detail

* Drive and determination for progression and learning
