Production Operative – TEMP TO PERM

PRODUCTION OPERATIVE WORK IN HINCKLEY AVAILABLE FROM TODAY!

We are currently hiring Production Operatives to join a busy team in Hinckley where you will be involved in the production, packing and quality checking of products.

Your daily tasks will include operating production machinery, using hand tools and manufacturing products. You will read and process barcodes, purchase orders and material orders, as well as prepare, handle and move raw materials.

You will carry out product sampling and quality checks, pack and wrap finished goods and prepare them for pallets. Other duties will include stock taking, identifying incorrect products or procedures and keeping the work area clean and organised.

For this role, previous experience in a similar production environment is required.

The ideal candidate will

• Have hands-on experience working in a production or manufacturing environment.

• Be confident using machinery, tools and production equipment.

• Be comfortable working with raw materials and finished products.

• Have good attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal production instructions.

• Understand the importance of quality control and accurate product sampling.

• Be physically capable of handling and moving products and materials where required.

• Be able to identify problems or anomalies during the production process and react quickly and appropriately.

• Have good communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team.

• Be hard-working, punctual, reliable and committed to their role.

• Have a strong awareness of workplace health and safety.

• Be flexible and willing to support different areas of the production operation when required.

Training will be provided on company-specific processes and equipment where necessary.

This is a Monday to Thursday role, with the potential to extend to Friday.

You will start at 08:30 and finish at 16:30, with a 20-minute lunch break and 15-minute additional break.

This role pays £12.71 an hour and holiday will be accrued up to 28 days per year, pro rata.
