Production Op - Immediate start

Temp to perm role, start ASAP, local production work.

We are currently hiring Production Operatives to join a busy team in Hinckley where you will be involved in the production, packing and quality checking of products.

You can expect the following daily tasks

- Operating production machinery, using hand tools and manufacturing goods

- Reading / processing barcodes, purchase orders and material orders

- Preparing, handling and moving raw materials

- Sampling and quality checking products

- Packing, wrapping and palletising the finished goods

- Stock takes, identifying incorrect products/ procedures and keeping a clean work environment

- Meeting production targets.

Requirments

- Previous manufacturing experience

- Use of hand tools and machinery

- Happy working with raw materials

- Good written and spoken English to ensure accurate understanding of instructions

- Ability to spot anomalies and rectify accordingly

- Great attention to detail, understanding of health and safety and communicate effectively.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Production Operative looking for a long-term position within a busy manufacturing environment.

Monday to Thursday

08:30 – 16:30, with a 20-minute lunch break and 15-minute additional break.

Candidates must also be flexible and available to work 5 days per week in the future, depending on the needs of the business.

You will earn an hourly rate of £12.71.

Holiday will be accrued up to 28 days per year (pro rata).
