Senior Environmental Health Enforcement Officer

What's involved with this role

Triumph Consultants are looking for an experienced Senior Environmental Health Enforcement Officer to join their client's Health & Safety Enforcement Team. You will manage a caseload, investigate complaints and carry out enforcement work to protect public health and safety. Contract is for 3 months in Wembley, HA9 0FJ.

Pay Rate

£25.57 per hour PAYE

Hours per week

36 Monday - Friday

Hybrid working is available for this role

Key Requirements

Professional qualification in Environmental Health, NEBOSH and CIEH registration.

Current experience in health and safety enforcement.

Good knowledge of health and safety legislation.

Experience investigating complaints, RIDDOR notifications and enforcement action.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a caseload of health and safety investigations and enforcement work.

Carry out inspections, site visits and investigations, gathering evidence where required.

Take appropriate enforcement action in line with legislation and guidance.

Prepare case files, witness statements and evidence for legal proceedings.

Maintain accurate records and work with colleagues and partners to meet service targets.
