HGV Class 2 Drivers

Are you an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver looking for regular weekday work with straightforward delivery routes and minimal manual handling? We’re currently recruiting reliable Class 2 Drivers to join an established delivery operation, with immediate starts available.

This is a great opportunity for drivers seeking consistent work, competitive pay and the chance to secure ongoing assignments with a busy transport operation.

You’ll be responsible for delivering frozen goods to a variety of commercial customers, transporting products in cages and on pallets. Most routes will involve between one and five drops per shift, helping keep your workload manageable throughout the day.

Handball requirements are minimal, although you’ll need to ensure deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and in line with customer expectations. A professional attitude, good timekeeping and a commitment to safe driving are essential.

You must hold a full UK Driving Licence with Category C entitlement, a valid Digital Tachograph Card and a valid Driver CPC Card. Previous HGV Class 2 driving experience is essential.

You’ll need to be reliable, professional and capable of completing deliveries safely and efficiently. Good timekeeping and the ability to represent the company positively when dealing with customers are also important.

This is ongoing temporary work with the potential for a long-term assignment. Regular weekday shifts are available for dependable drivers looking for consistent employment.

The role operates Monday to Friday, with start times available between 04:00 and 12:00. This provides flexibility for drivers looking for an early start or a later shift, while keeping weekends free under the standard working pattern.

The role offers up to £22.00 per hour via Umbrella, with PAYE rates of up to £16.50 per hour. PAYE workers can also accrue up to 28 days of annual leave pro rata.
