Class 2 HGV Drivers

Are you an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver looking for regular weekday work, flexible start times and competitive pay? We are currently recruiting reliable drivers for a well-established client, with ongoing work available and the opportunity to secure consistent hours.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for delivering frozen goods to commercial customers, transporting palletised and cage-based products safely and efficiently.

You’ll typically complete between 1 and 5 deliveries per shift, with minimal handballing required. This is a straightforward driving role, ideal for drivers looking for regular work without the demands of frequent manual handling.

Your responsibilities will include

Completing deliveries to commercial customers

Ensuring goods are transported and delivered safely

Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects

Completing relevant delivery paperwork

Following road safety regulations and site procedures

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you’ll need

A full UK driving licence with Category C entitlement

A valid Digital Tachograph Card

A valid UK Driver CPC Card

A reliable and professional approach to work

The ability to carry out minimal manual handling

A commitment to safe driving and good timekeeping

Duration

Ongoing temporary work

Opportunity to secure regular, long-term work

Working Hours

Monday to Friday

No weekend work required

Start times available between 04:00 and 12:00

Regular and consistent weekday hours

Immediate starts available

Up to £22.00 per hour via Umbrella

PAYE rates up to £16.50 per hour

Up to 28 days’ holiday accrued pro rata when paid through PAYE

Monday-to-Friday working

Regular work and immediate starts
