About this role

Our Community Mental Health Service provides specialist support to people experiencing severe and enduring mental health difficulties who require ongoing care in the community. Working within a modern, recovery-focused service, you will help individuals identify their strengths, build resilience and achieve meaningful goals. The role involves delivering comprehensive mental health assessments, developing recovery-focused care plans and providing a range of evidence-based psychosocial interventions. You will draw upon your professional expertise to support individuals through all stages of their recovery journey, while working closely with families, carers and partner agencies. As a senior member of the team, you will have opportunities to provide supervision and mentorship to junior colleagues, students and support staff. You'll play an active role in service development, helping to shape and improve mental health services across Somerset while maintaining the highest standards of professional practice. What We Offer At Somerset NHS Foundation Trust, we recognise that our staff are our greatest asset. When you join us, you'll benefit from: A supportive environment with regular supervision, reflective practice and strong peer support. Professional development opportunities including training, mentoring and career progression pathways. Flexible working options that support a healthy work-life balance. Generous NHS benefits including an excellent pension scheme and NHS staff discounts. Leadership opportunities to contribute to service development, quality improvement and innovation. If you're passionate about recovery-focused care, committed to making a difference and ready to grow your career within an innovative service, we'd love to hear from you.
