About this role

A Vacancy at Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust.

Please note - this post is based in North Lincolnshire

To work as a member of a corporate School Nursing team within the Health and Wellbeing 0-19 (25 SEND) service, supporting the School Nursing team in public health, clinical, non-clinical and clerical duties, to enable children and young people to access their education, and make informed healthy lifestyle choices.

If you don't already have a Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant subject, RDaSH are offering this post alongside the opportunity for you to complete a Level 3 apprenticeship qualification [relevant to your role].

As an apprentice within RDaSH you will be given the opportunity to gain experience, learn work-related skills and obtain all the tools needed to thrive.

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. Around 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying. This leads to a nationally recognised qualification.

To work within a corporate team as part of the wider School Nursing Service covering all schools and settings in North Lincolnshire to deliver the Healthy Child Programme 5-19 years, including the weight management pathway.

The organisation is supportive of training needs and there is an excellent learning and development programme. You will receive regular safeguarding, management and clinical supervision and will have support from the leadership team.
