We are recruiting a

Family Assessment Worker to support families within a residential assessment service in Coventry. You will observe parenting capacity, monitor family interactions, complete detailed reports, and contribute to safeguarding and child protection assessments.

Responsibilities

Observe and assess parenting abilities

• Monitor child care routines and family interactions
• Complete detailed observation records and reports
• Support families to develop positive parenting skills
• Follow safeguarding and child protection procedures
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team

Requirements

• Experience in family support, safeguarding, child protection, or residential care
• Strong observation and report-writing skills
• Ability to produce factual, professional records
• Flexible to work night shifts, including lone working
• Good understanding of safeguarding practices
