Counterbalance FLT Driver / Production operative temporary to permanent basis.

The Role

This is a varied position, with approximately

• 20% Counterbalance FLT duties

• 80% Production line and warehouse duties

Daily responsibilities include

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.

• Loading, unloading and moving stock around the warehouse.

• Bulking off nuts into 1-tonne bulk bags and 25kg sacks.

• Supporting the production line with general manufacturing duties.

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, quality and food safety.

• Following all health and safety procedures.

To be considered for this role you must

• Hold a valid Counterbalance FLT licence (In house not accepted)

• Be reliable, committed and looking for long-term employment.

• Be physically fit due to the manual handling involved.

• Be comfortable working within a fast-paced food production environment.

• Have excellent attendance and a strong work ethic.

• Have no allergies to peanuts or tree nuts.

Permanent opportunity

Monday to Friday

12 hour shifts

60 hours a week

Two 30 Mins Breaks per shifts (one paid one unpaid)

57.5 Hours paid per week

£13.25 per hour

£16.56 per hour after 48 hours

Up to £800 per week
