£95 to £130 per day | Long-Term Roles | November 2026 Start | Full-Time

Hays Education is working in partnership with a number of secondary schools across Bolton, Bury and Rochdale who are looking to appoint enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join their teams from November 2026. We are recruiting for multiple long-term opportunities, supporting students both in and out of the classroom. These roles are ideal for experienced Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants, Behaviour Mentors, youth workers or graduates looking to gain valuable school-based experience.

Your new role

• Supporting pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Working alongside classroom teachers to raise attainment and engagement
• Providing targeted one-to-one and small group support
• Supporting pupils with additional learning needs and behavioural challenges
• Encouraging positive behaviour and helping create an inclusive learning environment

What you'll need to succeed

• Have previous experience working with young people
• Can build positive relationships with students and staff
• Are confident supporting learning and behaviour within a secondary school setting
• Are reliable, adaptable and committed to making a difference
• Have, or are willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS Certificate
