Ely: self-employed dog walker for a small city with a lot of dogs

Ely is small and its owners mostly know each other, so a walker who is reliable gets recommended fast. We have no WoofWalk walker here yet and would like two or three, including one who can cover Littleport and Soham.

WoofWalk is a small UK app where owners book a dog walker who lives near them. You are self-employed on it. You set your prices, your hours and your bookings; owners book and pay through the app and the money is paid out to you. No wage, no guaranteed income, and we are not your employer.

No Ely price research yet; nationally, public listings show about £15 for an hour's walk. Set your own price; our start page shows what you would keep at it.

Jubilee Gardens, Ely Country Park and Roswell Pits are the local grounds, with the Ouse towpath for longer walks.

Joining costs nothing. Commission is nil for the first 14 days, 15% of each booking after that, and 10% for life once five clients have joined through you. You manage your own tax, National Insurance and insurance.
