About this role

Truro is Cornwall's only city and has no WoofWalk walker yet. We want two or three, and one who can reach Falmouth or the north coast villages would be welcome.

WoofWalk is a UK app where dog owners book a nearby walker or sitter.

You are self-employed on it

your prices, your hours, your bookings; owners pay through the app and the money is paid out to you. We are not an employer, there is no wage, and work is not guaranteed.

No Truro price research yet; nationally, public listings put an hour's walk at about £15. You decide your own price.

Boscawen Park, Idless Woods and the Malpas riverside are the local grounds, with the coast path not far in any direction. Many Cornish beaches restrict dogs in summer, so check before you offer a beach walk.

No joining fee. Commission is 0% for the first 14 days, then 15% of each booking, and 10% for life once five clients have joined through you. Tax, National Insurance and insurance are yours to handle.

Holiday-let owners and second-home households make summer busy here. Over 18.
