Senior Care Assistants - Various Shifts

Are you a person that likes to lead by example and can lead a team of Carers in providing a high standard of Care?

This lovely care home is looking for Senior Care Assistants with a grounded knowledge in Care and willing to lead a shift with the support of the nursing staff. This home caters for elderly residents with Dementia related illnesses and Illnesses associated with the Elderly.

You are expected to lead the staff in a professional and competent manner. You will still be expected to assist the residents with all their care needs, always being respectful and empathetic. Key Responsibilities

• Delivering personal care, ensuring their comfort and hygiene needs are met, ensuring the dignity of all residents.

• Follow individualised care plans precisely to meet the unique physical and emotional needs of each resident.

• Complete daily paperwork, logs, and reports accurately to maintain seamless continuity of care.

• Work effectively and professionally alongside the existing care team.

What We Are Looking For

• Previous experience in a residential or elderly care setting is essential.

• An empathetic, patient, and highly motivated attitude towards care.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy.

• Excellent organizational skills for managing essential paperwork.

For this role, you must have;

• A least 3 months experience in an Elderly Care environment
• A DBS dated within the last 6 months, registered on the update service, if not we can perform a DBS on your behalf at a cost of £49.50

-Up to Date relevant mandatory training in Moving and Handling, Infection Control and Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and ideally the certificates to show for this or we can assist you to access online training platforms.

We have ongoing hours available and potentially a permanent role for the right candidates!

Shift times are

-

Days – 0700 to 1430

Afternoons – 1400 to 2130

Nights – 2100 to 0730.

Weekday shifts are available on request, especially bank holidays.

Rasf pay are £14.05 to £15.50 per hour. You will also accrue up to 28 days holiday per year for time served
