Care Assistants - Day Shifts

Urgently seeking experienced Care Assistants with a passion for working with The Elderly?

I am looking for experienced Care Assistants with a grounded knowledge in Elder Care. You will be expected to take part in various activities inhouse, encouraging the residents to take part in the daily activity sessions. You are expected to deal with the residents with care, respect and empathy ensuring they have a good quality of life. You will also be expected to do general housekeeping duties such as laundry and cleaning of the resident’s rooms.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting individuals with their personal care when required, ensuring their comfort and hygiene needs are met, maintaining the dignity of all residents.

• Follow individualised care plans precisely to meet the unique physical and emotional needs of each resident.

• Complete logs, reporting accurately and highlighting issues as they come up.

• Work effectively and professionally alongside the existing care team.

What We Are Looking For

• Previous experience in a residential or elderly care setting is essential.

• An empathetic, patient, and highly motivated attitude towards care.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy.

• Excellent organizational skills for managing essential paperwork

For this role, you must have;

• A minimum of 3 months experience in a Care environment
• A DBS dated within the last 6 months, registered on the update service or the facility to pay for one upfront at the cost of £49.50.
• All relevant mandatory training up-to-date and ideally certificates to show for this or we can assist you to access online training platforms.
• Referenceable work history covering the past 2 years

Shift times are

Days – 0700 to 1500

Other Shifts available on request, especially to cover bank holidays.

Rates of pay are £12.76. Other shifts are available at premium rates. You will also accrue up to 28 days paid holiday per year.
