HGV Class 1 Drivers – Grantham

Are you an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver looking for reliable weekday work in Grantham? We’re currently recruiting professional drivers to join an established operation, offering regular hours and consistent delivery work.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for completing deliveries and collections along allocated routes, ensuring goods are transported safely and arrive within the required timeframes.

This role involves both driving and customer-facing work. You’ll need to be confident managing your own route, working independently and representing the company professionally when dealing with customers.

Your duties will include

Completing deliveries and collections

Following allocated routes and schedules

Carrying out vehicle checks

Ensuring goods are transported safely

Managing your daily workload

Communicating professionally with customers

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you’ll need

A valid UK HGV Class 1 licence (Category C+E)

A valid Driver CPC Card

A valid Digital Tachograph Card

Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience

Good knowledge of UK roads and driving regulations

A reliable and professional attitude

Strong communication and customer service skills

The ability to work independently and manage your daily route

Duration

Ongoing temporary position

Continued work available for the right candidate

Consistent weekday hours

Working Hours

Monday to Friday

Early morning starts

Regular daytime shifts

Additional hours may be required depending on workload

Pay and Benefits

£16.00 per hour PAYE

Monday-to-Friday work

Consistent hours

Up to 28 days’ annual leave accrued pro rata
