We are looking for strong and committed Primary Teaching Assistants to support schools across Lambeth.

This role is ideal for experienced Teaching Assistants, graduates, aspiring teachers, or candidates with a background in childcare, tutoring, mentoring or youth support.

The Role

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will

* Support children across EYFS, KS1 or KS2

* Work closely with the class teacher to support daily lessons

*

Provide 1

1 and small group support to pupils who need extra help

* Assist with phonics, reading, writing, maths and classroom activities

* Encourage positive behaviour, focus and confidence in learning

* Support pupils with a range of abilities and additional needs

* Help prepare resources and maintain a positive classroom environment

* Build strong relationships with pupils and staff

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

* Experience working with children or young people

* School, nursery, tutoring, youth work or childcare experience is desirable

* A calm, patient and enthusiastic approach

* Good communication and organisation skills

* Confidence working as part of a school team

* A genuine passion for helping pupils progress

* An Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one
