Are you a calm, confident and engaging teacher who knows how to balance clear boundaries with warmth, humour and fun?
SEND Inclusion Support is working with a fantastic partner school in Wigan to recruit a SEND Teacher to join their specialist team.
The school is looking for someone who can build strong relationships with pupils with complex needs while creating a classroom environment that is structured, consistent, positive and enjoyable.
The school currently has a small Year 6 class of three pupils with complex needs, offering an opportunity to really get to know each child and provide highly personalised teaching and support.
There is also a second class of seven pupils with a mixture of verbal and non-verbal pupils, including pupils with ADHD.
The successful teacher's class will be confirmed based on experience, strengths and the needs of the pupils.

Experience working with complex SEND, autism, ADHD, non-verbal pupils or specialist provision would be highly desirable.
We're also interested in hearing from experienced mainstream teachers who have strong behaviour management skills and are looking to develop their specialist SEND experience.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive specialist school where you'll have the chance to make a real difference to a small group of pupils.
With small class sizes and a strong focus on individual needs, you'll be able to build meaningful relationships and really understand what helps each child to learn, communicate and thrive.
The role is available on a permanent or temp-to-perm basis, depending on the successful candidate.
If you're a teacher who can be firm when needed, calm under pressure and still bring plenty of fun into the classroom, we'd love to hear from you.
