Oakwood Primary School is seeking an inspiring and thoughtful Headteacher to lead our school into its next chapter.

We were the first school in St Albans to achieve the OPAL Platinum Award. Our children enjoy creative and adventurous play across our extensive grounds, including woodland that has been opened for exploration, climbing and responsible risk-taking.

We are looking for a visible and approachable primary leader who combines warmth with clarity. You will be an excellent communicator, committed to safeguarding and confident in building relationships with pupils, staff, parents and governors. Applications are welcomed from experienced Headteachers and ambitious senior leaders who can demonstrate readiness for headship.
