The role

• Full teaching responsibility for a Year 1 class
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
• Assessing and monitoring pupil progress
• Creating a positive and structured classroom environment
• Working closely with support staff, colleagues, and parents

The ideal candidate will

• Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Have experience teaching within Key Stage 1
• Be a strong and confident classroom practitioner
• Demonstrate excellent behaviour management skills
• Be capable of supporting a class with a higher level of need
• Be resilient, proactive, and committed to achieving positive outcomes for all pupils
