The Best Connection are currently recruiting for an experienced

Mill Setter/Operator on behalf of our prestigious manufacturing client based in

West Bromwich.

Rotating Shift Pattern

Applicants must be able to work the following rotating shifts

Week 1

Monday to Thursday

06:00 - 14:00

-

Friday

06:00 - 13:00

Week 2

-

Monday to Thursday

14:00 - 22:00

-

Friday

13:00 - 20:00

Pay Rate

£17.69 per hour (including 22% shift allowance)

Key Responsibilities

As a Mill Setter/Operator, you will be responsible for

-

Setting and operating roll forming mills, presses, and associated production equipment

-

Producing components to required production targets and reporting any issues affecting output

-

Ensuring all products meet quality specifications

-

Maintaining accurate production and quality records

-

Upholding high housekeeping standards through 5S practices

-

Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the department

-

Adhering to all Health & Safety procedures and company policies

-

Carrying out any additional duties required to support business operations

Candidate Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess

-

Extensive experience setting and operating cold roll forming mills

-

Strong knowledge of roll forming processes and equipment

-

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality standards

-

The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

-

A proactive approach with a drive to achieve production targets safely

-

A willingness to promote and work in line with company values, including ATIRE and SQDC principles
