Production Operatives to join an established fresh produce business based in

Livingston.

Our client operates a busy food production facility, requiring reliable and detail-oriented operatives to support packing and distribution across a revolving rota that includes weekend working.

What's on offer?

• Full-time temporary position -

40 hours per week

• Working 5 days out of 7, from

6am to 3pm - on a 6-week revolving rota

• Paid weekly at

£12.71 per hour

As a Production Operative, your duties will include

• Setting up production lines and ensuring materials are correctly positioned at the start of each shift
• Selecting, packing, labelling and sealing fresh produce to customer specifications including count, weight, colour and origin
• Operating scanners, pallet trucks, MHE and computer equipment safely in line with health and safety procedures
• Completing quality checks, segregating rejected produce and managing label stock accurately
• Completing all required paperwork and liaising with supervisors, QA and production teams to minimise downtime

To be considered as a Production Operative, you will need

• Previous experience in a production or warehouse environment
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
• A basic level of computer literacy
• Knowledge of fresh produce and health and safety procedures is advantageous - pallet truck training will be provided
