Dog walker (self-employed), Livingston: your own round, your prices

WoofWalk is a UK booking app for dog owners. We're launching in Livingston and looking for up to five self-employed walkers spread across the town: Dedridge, Craigshill, Deans, Ladywell and Knightsridge, and around Almondell Country Park.

This is not a job with a wage, and we can't guarantee any bookings. You run your own small dog walking business through the app. You choose your prices, your days and your patch, owners book and pay through the app, and the money goes to your bank.

Every walker on WoofWalk sets their own prices. An hour's solo walk is typically listed at £12 to £28, with £18 as the middle price (about 200 listings, October 2026). These are other walkers' prices, not a wage.

The terms, plainly: it is free to join. There is no commission for your first 14 days, then 15% of each booking, falling to 10% once five of your own clients join. Clients you bring yourself pay the lower rate from their first booking. You are responsible for your own tax, National Insurance and insurance.

Setting up is easy with our help: send us your area, days and price and we'll draft your profile for you to check. If you already walk dogs, bring your clients and manage bookings, payments and GPS-tracked walks in one app.

You need to be over 18, comfortable walking in all weathers, and willing to meet each owner and dog first. Apply through Find a Job and let us know which part of Livingston you can cover.
