About the Role

We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable Wraparound Care Assistant to join our team at New Close Primary School in Warminster on a fixed-term contract. You will play an important role in delivering a warm, nurturing and engaging environment for primary-aged children before and after school.

Working closely with the Club Lead, you will support the daily running of the wraparound provision, helping to create a safe, inclusive and enjoyable space where children can relax, play and develop. You’ll get involved in setting up activities, supporting behaviour routines, engaging children in creative play, and ensuring a high standard of care throughout each session.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children, brings a positive and caring approach, and values being part of a close-knit school community. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a rewarding, fun and meaningful environment where you can make a genuine difference.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Club Lead with the set-up, delivery and pack-down of sessions

• Help create a warm, inclusive and welcoming atmosphere for all children

• Engage children in a variety of fun, age-appropriate activities (e.g., games, crafts, creative play)

• Build positive relationships with children, parents, school staff and colleagues

• Ensure the safety, wellbeing and enjoyment of all children in the club

• Follow safeguarding, health & safety and behaviour policies at all times
