Ideal Candidate Profile
The manager is looking for a fully competent
Housing Options Officer who can
- Manage cases from triage through to final homelessness decisions.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of the Housing Reduction Act (HRA).
- Understand homelessness legislation, case law and the five homelessness tests.
- Conduct investigations, complete assessments and draft decision letters independently.
- Handle complex caseloads without significant training or support.
