Responsibilities

• Operate breakers and other tools to break out concrete as part of demolition activities.
• Ensure all tasks are carried out safely and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to complete project objectives efficiently and on schedule.
• Maintain and inspect tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and adhere to site-specific requirements.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card or CCDO (Certificate of Competence for Demolition Operatives) card.
• Proven experience in demolition work, particularly in breaking out concrete.
• Strong understanding of health and safety practices on construction sites.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual labor in a demanding environment.

Day-to-Day

• Report to the site supervisor at the start of each shift for task assignments.
• Use breakers and other tools to carry out concrete demolition tasks.
• Ensure the work area is kept clean and free of hazards.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow.
• Monitor and report any issues with tools, equipment, or site conditions.
