Overview We are seeking skilled and dedicated labourers for a short-term project near Leyton Station. This opportunity involves working for 1 to 2 nights to prepare steelwork for painting by cleaning it with a power washer. The role requires individuals with the necessary certifications and experience to operate access equipment safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Clean steelwork using a power washer to prepare surfaces for painting.
• Operate scissor lifts and access towers to safely reach designated areas for cleaning.
• Ensure all tasks are performed in compliance with safety regulations and site protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to complete the project efficiently and on schedule.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the project.

Qualifications To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following

• LU ICI (London Underground Industry Common Induction) certification.
• IPAF certification to operate scissor lifts.
• PASMA certification for working with access towers.
• Previous experience in cleaning steelwork or similar tasks is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
• Ability to work night shifts and complete tasks within the specified timeframe.

Day-to-Day

• Arrive on-site at Leyton Station and participate in a safety briefing.
• Set up and inspect power washers, scissor lifts, and access towers before use.
• Clean steelwork thoroughly and efficiently, ensuring all surfaces are prepared for painting.
• Communicate with team members and supervisors to address any challenges or adjustments.
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
