Job Description and Person Specification

Providing effective clinical leadership and acting as a role model for the nursing team, promoting high standards of professional practice and patient-centred care. Coordinating the delivery of safe, effective and compassionate nursing care, ensuring that patients individual needs are assessed and met. Supporting the day-to-day management of the service, including the effective allocation of staff and resources to maintain safe and efficient patient care. Working collaboratively with consultants, the multidisciplinary team and other departments to ensure seamless care coordination and communication. Monitoring clinical standards, participating in audits and quality improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with Trust policies, procedures and professional standards. Supporting the recruitment, induction, supervision and development of nursing staff, fostering a positive learning environment and encouraging continuous professional development. Ensuring accurate clinical documentation, effective risk management and timely escalation of concerns to maintain patient safety. Contributing to service development and improvements that enhance the patient experience and support the delivery of an efficient, high-quality private patient service.
