We are seeking compassionate, resilient, and highly motivated Inclusive Learning Assistants to support students who have experienced significant barriers to education and are returning to learning after periods of absence.
This rewarding role involves working closely with young people who present with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, helping them rebuild confidence, develop positive learning habits, and successfully reintegrate into an educational environment.
Your role will involve encouraging independent learning and helping students achieve their personal learning targets across a wide range of educational programmes. We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience working with children or young people with SEND, as this would be a significant advantage.
A recognised Learning Support related qualification is desirable, and a good standard of English and Maths is essential. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a genuine enthusiasm for helping others, and the ability to build positive relationships with young people and/or adults who may have learning disabilities, mental health needs, social emotional difficulties, or require physical care.
