About this role

HOSPITALITY TEAM LEADER

Mayfair, London | £17.00 per hour | 40 hours per week

Exceptional hospitality. Seamless organisation. A role with real variety and responsibility.

Houston & Hawkes is looking for an experienced and highly organised Hospitality Team Leader to join our team within a prestigious corporate workplace in the heart of Mayfair. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who takes pride in impeccable service, enjoys leading from the front and thrives in a varied hospitality environment.

Far from a conventional front-of-house role, you will move confidently between meeting-room hospitality, tea points, restaurant service and event coordination. Working closely with the General Manager, you will help ensure every detail is considered, every space is beautifully presented and every guest receives a consistently outstanding experience.

We are looking for a proactive, flexible individual who can balance hands-on service with administration and planning, adapting effortlessly as the needs of the business change.

THE ROLE

-

Coordinate the day-to-day delivery of corporate hospitality, ensuring meetings, refreshments and events run smoothly.

-

Lead by example during service, supporting colleagues and maintaining consistently polished standards.

-

Oversee hospitality rooms and tea points, ensuring they are clean, well stocked, welcoming and immaculately presented.

-

Support restaurant service and work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to create a seamless guest experience.

-

Assist the General Manager with event planning, administration, preparation and delivery.

-

Coordinate room set-ups, service requirements, equipment and refreshments ahead of meetings and events.

-

Manage competing priorities and respond confidently to last-minute changes and client requests.

-

Support ordering, stock control, daily checks and other operational administration as required.

-

Maintain exceptional standards of food safety, allergen management, hygiene and health and safety.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

-

Experience in corporate hospitality, premium contract catering, fine dining or a similarly high-quality service environment.

-

A confident, warm and professional approach, with genuine pride in presentation and guest care.

-

Excellent organisation and the ability to manage several responsibilities without compromising standards.

-

Previous experience coordinating hospitality service, supporting colleagues or leading a small team.

-

Comfortable using email and everyday administrative systems to organise bookings and communicate requirements.

-

Flexibility to move between hospitality rooms, tea points, restaurant service and event support.

-

A proactive, calm and hands-on attitude, with excellent communication and attention to detail.

WHY JOIN HOUSTON & HAWKES?

You’ll be joining an award-winning independent business that genuinely invests in its people, celebrates success and creates opportunities to develop.

-

A varied, hands-on role within a prestigious Mayfair corporate environment

-

-

Enhanced maternity, paternity and adoption leave

-

Contributory pension scheme
