About this role
We are currently looking to recruit a Parent Infant Psychotherapist to work into our Perinatal Mental Health Service in Rotherham. We are seeking to recruit someone with a core Doctorate level qualification (or its equivalent) in Adult/Child Psychotherapy or Clinical Psychology who has also completed the Parent Infant Psychotherapy training.
The Perinatal Mental Health Service is a specialist service for women and birthing people with mental health difficulties during pregnancy and the first year postnatal. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a psychologically minded, supportive and values driven team. The role will include working directly with mums and their babies and offering consultation to the team.
You will need to be experienced, suitably qualified and registered as a Clinical Psychologist with HCPC or Psychotherapist qualified and registered with the appropriate body, (BABCP, UKCP HCPC) with a real passion for perinatal mental health care. You should have attained a level of experience proportionate to the competencies detailed in the job description, possess the skills as detailed in the person specification and be able to work autonomously and with partner agencies.
The post holder would be an integral part of the team and involved in delivering Psychological care in the team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team focused on delivering high quality care and to work alongside other Psychological Professions in the team. The post also offers the opportunity of joining a growing team of supportive, compassionate and value-driven Psychological Professions across Rotherham.
We provide a flexible service that meets the needs of the women and birthing people we serve. Appointments are offered in several locations, and care is tailored to the needs of the families we work with.
The successful candidates will receive management supervision from the Team Manager and Clinical Supervision from the Clinical Psychology lead in the Perinatal Team.
