About this role
This Role
CBT Therapist
The successful candidate will join the enhanced psychology pathway within NHS 24’s Psychological Services, delivering digitally enabled, evidence-based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to adults experiencing mild to moderate mental health or physical health difficulties. This primarily involves individual clinical work via telephone, with potential future opportunities for video-enabled and group interventions.
The role includes managing a personal caseload, undertaking assessment and formulation, and delivering structured CBT interventions in accordance with evidence-based practice. The post holder will maintain appropriate clinical records, monitor and evaluate treatment outcomes, and work collaboratively with clinical psychology colleagues and other health professionals. You will contribute to training, supervision, service delivery and evaluation activities to support the ongoing development of psychological therapy provision within NHS 24.
