About the role

Are you a doctor who is excited about shaping how healthcare is designed, not just how it is delivered? We are looking for a Product Doctor to join our Boots Online Doctor team and bring clinical expertise to the heart of our product development.

Working alongside product managers, designers and engineers, you’ll make sure the services and features we build are clinically safe, easy to use and centred on patients. You’ll turn clinical guidelines into great digital experiences and help us test, learn and improve quickly. If you’re curious about technology and passionate about patient care, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the clinical voice in our product teams, from discovery and design through to launch
  • Design and review clinical content, including consultation questionnaires, patient information and prescribing logic
  • Translate national guidelines and best practice into safe, practical digital pathways
  • Support clinical risk assessments and hazard logs for new features, in line with clinical safety standards
  • Test new features and give clear clinical feedback to product and engineering teams
  • Use data and patient feedback to identify improvements to our services
  • Undertake online consultations to stay close to patient needs and keep your clinical skills current
  • Attend clinical meetings and maintain your own skills and CPD

What you’ll need to have

  • Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
  • UK clinical experience
  • Experience working in a product, digital or health tech team, with experience of building digital pathways
  • Experience / interest in digital health, product design or technology
  • The ability to explain clinical concepts clearly to non-clinical colleagues
  • You will have a can-do attitude and be committed to always improving our services
  • You will be a flexible team player who can thrive in our start-up mentality. We have a lot to learn and iterations are frequent!

It would be great if you also have

  • Clinical Safety Officer training (DCB0129/DCB0160)
  • Familiarity with agile ways of working
  • Previous remote/online consulting experience

Rewards designed for you

  • Pension membership
  • Partial paid maternity leave
  • Discretionary annual bonus
  • Generous employee discounts
  • Flexible benefits scheme

There's lots more in our benefits and discounts, MyBoosts - there to give you that little lift in your everyday. Find out more at boots.jobs/rewards
